The 8th Annual BOX ISLAND Weekend

2014 was a year to remember for The Indobox; full of great music, meeting new fans and strengthening friendships. We had a blast performing the past couple of months' shows like the runs with Jimkata and lespecial. We've been reminiscing over earlier '14 gigs too, like the Pool Party, The Paradise in Boston, the special Acoustic shows and LCD sets and of course, Block Island.  

With that sentiment, we couldn't be happier than to officially announce the 8th Annual Box Island, to take place @ Captain Nick's on Block Island, RI on June 19th and 20th, 2015! We hope that you're as eager as us to make reservations. Please stay tuned for more news about the event in the coming months. We'll see you there in June!

ScrantonMade :: The Indobox @ Campfire

We are lucky to have great friends that support our music in so many ways. Bella Terra Festival added + "Dance Yr Box Clean" set at Mint Green!

The Bella Terra Music Festival in Stephentown, NY is happy to have back The Indobox for the first time in several years. On Thursday August, 21st the Box will perform the first late night slot following Break Science closing out their main stage for the first day of the festival.

In other exciting news, The Indobox is happy to announce their "Dance Yr Box Clean" set has been added to the Mint Green Music Festival; featuring all 4 members of the box as well as special guests, performing the music of LCD Soundsystem! After appearing only in Boston, Brooklyn and Boulder so far, this will the 4th time ever, doing this set.

Disc Jam has changed locations!

Disc Jam Music-Festival has moved location, very near to the former location, and at the venue where The Camp Coldbrook Festival was hosted the last few years, in Barre, MA @ 864 Coldbrook Road. The Indobox will be performing a late-night, Acoustic set there on Saturday June, 14 amid performances by other great acts like Business Casual Disco, Color Channel, Kung Fu and more!

Jules returns to his throne! plus Acoustic Box @ Disc Jam Festival

The Indobox is happy to make 2 great announcements this week!

For starters, the band is very much excited to have Jules Jenssen back in his rightful throne, behind his enormous drum kit. Chris Narainen of Blue Boy Productions was a wonderful substitute in Jules' absence and everybody's thankful he could do the job, but with Jules' injuries healing smoothly, he'll be back where he belongs; onstage making music!

Secondly, Disc Jam Music Festival has announced the addition of an Acoustic Set by The Indobox. After the enthusiastic reception to the first 3 Acoustic Indobox shows ever this past March, it only seemed natural to play it at one of New England's coolest new music festivals in June. Chris Narainen to fill in for Jules temporarily

The Indobox would like to announce that while drummer Jules Jenssen is recovering from a recent surgery, Chris Narainen of Blue Boy Productions will be keeping the seat warm for Jules until he can return to his throne behind the drums.  Please send some healing vibrations his way, and don't miss any of these spring tour dates! Also, The Acoustic Indobox shows this week will be performed as a trio, without drums. The band is very excited for these upcoming shows and hopeful for a speedy recovery for Jules.
